Biography :
Sonya is currently an Associate Broker with United Real Estate Louisville. She acquired her brokers license at the beginning of 2018, which is the highest certification for Realtors. Born in Scottsburg IN., Sonya moved to Louisville after graduating from IU South East in 2001. Before real estate, she gained plenty of business knowledge and experience as Vice President of a Kentucky based company that sold technology equipment to schools for over 10 years. After choosing real estate as her new career, her and her husband Todd started " The Shaw Real Estate Team" together in 2014. At first meeting with Sonya, you will feel very comfortable and in great hands. She's a very patient person and takes the time to make sure her clients understand every step of the process. Her job is also her passion and enjoys staying current in real estate law and our industry projections. When she is not working she enjoyes speding time with her husband and their two small dogs, Banks and Pete.
